PRESENTATION OF MET-INNOVA
THE INTERNATIONAL INNOVATION UNIT OF THE METAL SECTOR WAS PRESENTED TO GIVE SERVICE TO THE COMPANIES IN THE 7th FRAMEWORK PROGRAMME
INTRODUCTION
• Met-Innnova was presented last november 3rd 2009 in the CEOE seat, in Madrid (Spain). This way the International Innovation Unit start up its pace with the objective of increasing the metal companies participation in the 7th FP projects. The undertaking had an extensive participation of companies, of their players and the CDTI (Center for the Technological and Industrial Development) providing an standing out mission.
• The spanish metal companies have sustained an intensive activity in the international framework in innovation and management, path that started with CECA treaty ended in 2002, continuing later via RFCS Founds realizing now in the R&D Framework Programmes of the European Union. Spain counts for 10% of the participations in RFCS projects, in which Research and Development Centers take 45% and the rest are compamies.
